Students Who Worked in This Lab

  1. Mr. Mathew Murlidar, Trinity College Dublin – Visiting Researcher (RISE Fellowship). Mathew worked on density functional theory (DFT) simulations of the crystal structure of polyethylene furanoate (PEF) to investigate its barrier properties.
  2. Ms. Orlaith Kiernan, Final-Year Undergraduate Researcher, Dublin City University. Orlaith worked on the hydrolytic degradation of poly(L-lactic acid) (PLA) under simulated laboratory conditions.
  3. Ms. Elizabeth Stafford Hoey, Final-Year Undergraduate Researcher, Dublin City University. Elizabeth worked on the development of PLA-based films for food packaging applications.
